The search is over

– The set designers had a very big problem with finding the main location of the film. The director’s vision was clear: it was meant to be two houses facing each other, standing in one yard with a common barn. After many weeks of searching, we finally succeeded – says the creator in the “Amazing Poland Trip” channel. Finally, the filmmakers found the perfect location in Dobrzykowice, 14 km from Wrocław.

The houses in Dobrzykowice at Szkolna Street have not changed much over the years. The famous fence still stands there, as well as Kargul’s yard looks almost identical. The owners of the farm supposedly make it available to visitors.
