Blanka did not conquer Eurovision, but she is starting to conquer the world. Debut of “Solo” on the world charts

Although this year’s edition of Eurovision was not the most exciting, many Poles cheered our Bejba a lot. However, this did not help Blanca, who took only 19th place. It turns out that the very performance in front of an international audience can bring her as much as winning. Her Eurovision hit “Solo” has just hit the list of the most shared songs around the world on the well-known streaming service.

The attitude of Poles to Blanka’s participation in Eurovision at the beginning aroused mixed feelings. However, the artist quickly honed her vocal skills, which made many Internet users change their minds about her. We could find a lot of entries in which users emphasize that they keep their fingers crossed for her and that her song positively stands out with its simplicity compared to other proposals.

Blanka is beginning to be listened to all over the world

Unfortunately, members of the jury and viewers from the countries participating in the competition were of a different opinion. Blanka received only 12 points from the former, six of which were awarded by specialists from Ukraine. It fared much better in the eyes of the audience. In the so-called “televoting” Polka received 81 points, which translated into a total of 93 points. This is still a number far from the total number of points received by the winner of the competition, but Internet users and Blanka herself point out that if the results of the competition were decided only by viewers, “Solo” would be in eighth place.

However, the singer’s appearance on stage in Liverpool may do more than was suspected. Although the song “Solo” began to be a trend on TikTok before the semi-finals, and the recordings of Blanka’s rehearsals were much more watched than the struggles of other participants, it is quite possible that the best is yet to come. Blanka’s song appeared in the latest “Viral 50 – Świat” listing on Spotify. This is a list of the fifty most shared songs worldwide. The Eurovision hit “Solo” took 27th place and its position is still growing.

This means that people from different countries who use the services of the most popular streaming service are very eager to share “Solo”, making the song more and more popular around the world. This is a great success for the Polish singer. Who knows, maybe “Solo” will soon start to be played on foreign radio stations, or will appear in the official single sales charts.

In addition, Blanka, after returning to Poland, said that she intended to continue her career at even greater speed and announced the premiere of a new single. “Our next plan is a new single, which will be released in May” – she said in an interview with the Jastrząb Post portal. It can be expected that her latest song will be kept in similar dance climates as “Solo”, but it is quite possible that it will turn out to be a much more interesting proposition than the one for Eurovision. We’ll have to be patient for a while to find out.
