On May 6, 2023, Montaner finished the first part of his “I miss you” tour, which he started in March of last year through 12 cities in the United States, and on which the young singer Claudia Prieto was his opening act.

A journey through the United States

The successful tour of the interpreter “Será” visited the most important halls in Miami, Orlando, Tampa, New York, Washington, Boston, Toronto, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Salt Lake City, Denver and Los Angeles.

The young singer of Venezuelan origin said that she traveled by car for eight hours with her father, with whom she stayed at the homes of friends or relatives or at Airbnb. As she revealed on her social networks, they traveled for more than 100 hours on domestic roads.

“Dad and I are on a trip across the United States”… “Anyway, we’ve made it to the next date,” he said in one of the clips he posted.

Only in one of her posts does Claudia state that she traveled by plane with her father.

The young artist in her videos told how the trip went: “More than eight hours a day in the car with my dad, I’m going on tour in the United States,” Claudia Prieto told her followers online.

“I thought we would ride in a limousine, that we would be famous, five-star hotels… Now it turns out that I am the driver,” says the young woman’s father in one of the videos. “But I’m not doing anything that any other father wouldn’t do for his daughter,” he adds in the post.

According to the show “Gossip no like”, although Claudia Prieto expressed her immense gratitude to Montaner for the opportunity to open her performances, including the one they held at the iconic Radio City Music Hall in New York, it was difficult for her because he did not have her support for hotels or for transportation.

“There was never any thought of him traveling with them or sleeping in their hotel with the professional team,” criticized the show.

The presenters pointed out that Montaner “…isn’t in the best of shape financially, as he’s busy putting chips on Camilo and he’s going on this tour to raise money because he doesn’t have any. Because in your restaurant the employees are waiting for their salary; because the houses are sold…”.

In the program they asked themselves “how can you have an artist who opens for you in big centers like Los Angeles, New York, drive her with your dad? If something happens to her, some accident, if her father falls asleep because they’re driving for eight hours because he didn’t pay… the ticket… it can cost you 200 dollars or put her in a hotel, even if it’s a replacement…” .

The second part of the tour continues on September 30 in Puerto Rico and on October 5 in Mexico.
