This year’s Durango Fair will also be face-to-face, in addition to digital, but the Gerediaga association has taken several measures to be able to adapt to the health orders decreed by the Basque Government. For this reason, it will be necessary to reserve a place on the Durangoko Azoka website to access the Landako space and Plateruena, to the Ahotsenea concerts. Once inside these spaces, the use of the mask will be mandatory and you will not be able to eat or drink.
In Landako there may be a maximum of 1200 people visiting the exhibitors, in shifts of an hour and a half. When that time is up, the space will be emptied to make room for the next turn. Each day, there will therefore be a total of five shifts, between 10:00 and 20:00.
In Plateruena, for its part, there will be 50 concerts between December 4 and 8, for which it will also be necessary to reserve a place on the Azoka website. Plateruena will not offer hospitality service.
Furthermore, Durangoko Azoka and the Biscayan town council have asked all those who come to the fair to act responsibly: “The support and commitment of everyone is necessary to keep the square of Basque culture alive. Last year, we managed to keep the Fair alive; if we want it this year as well, it is necessary that we act responsibly and comply with all sanitary regulations “.
Between December 4 and 8 there will be 220 stands in Landako, while the virtual store will be active between December 3 and 7.
