The Venezuelan band is part of the artists that will perform at the Picnic show, which will take place this Saturday, November 27 in Ecuador.
In June of this year they returned to the stage in person The Invisible Friends, which is made up of José Rafael Catire Torres (bass), Julio Chulius Briceño (voice) and Juan Manuel Mamel Roura (battery). As part of this reunion with their fans, they now return to Ecuador and come recharged with energy, but above all with good music.
“Happy to be back on stage. For us to be on stage is life, it is what moves us, it is what we like to do the most, and we love that people in Ecuador also love it and that they invite us, ”Torres tells this newspaper.
“For us Ecuador has always been a special place, we have always received a lot feedback of the fans for a long time. However, in recent years we have been able to visit the country more in general. Whenever we go, it feels very beautiful, the very beautiful energy of the people; so, happy to return ”, he adds.
The classic songs and the new ones will be part of the repertoire of Los Amigos Invisibles, which will be presented this Saturday, November 27 at the Picnic show, which will also feature the participation of national artists: Exquisite Corpse, Cometa Sucre, Toy Army, The Machine Camaleón, Daniel y Yadas and DJ’s Nicolás Domínguez.

30 years of experience
This 2021 the group celebrates 30 years of experience. According to Torres, these three decades have been being in a “business” that they love. “We really like what we do, and that, despite having 30 years with the band, we are still excited to make new music today, we are excited to try things musically, we are excited to go on tour. We are fortunate to have this job and we do everything possible so that it never stops, “he says.
“Now, it would be useless if we want to continue … As we have found that not only we want to do it, but we also have an audience that also wants us to do it. So, as long as that continues, we will be there ”, he adds.
The music of Los Amigos Invisibles has not been indifferent to the new generations. “What we have seen in the concerts is that now the audience is mostly from another generation. It is a public mostly between 20 and 30 years old. I don’t know how we did it, but here we go … We love that new generations connect to music with the new, with the old, and see them in the shows“, Explain.
Projects
By mid-2022, according to Torres, they plan to release a new album. “Since 2019 we have released pure singles, which is good, I think it is a very comfortable way of working. But I feel like fans they are asking for a record; so, 2022 is the year of the album, ”he stresses, adding that the album will feature collaborations, but he did not say the names of the artists who will accompany them.

The concert will take place, starting at 5:00 p.m., at the Costa Country Club, via a la costa, which has more than 7,500 square meters. To avoid crowds, the doors will open from 14:00. Attendees will have their temperature, vaccination card verified and each one must wear their mask. Capacity is limited to 1,000 people.
In addition to the shows, the public will be able to enjoy business and food stands. There will also be space for pets.
