Blanka’s song made a real sensation on the web, although the singer herself probably did not dream of such fame. The victory in the pre-selections, as well as the song itself, caused a lot of controversy not only in Poland. Ultimately, Blanka changed the choreography, worked on the vocals and showed a lot of distance to jokes about “bejba”. She performed well enough in the semi-finals to qualify for the Eurovision final. The performance was judged by Agnieszka Hekiert from the program “Your face sounds familiar”. How did Blanca do in her opinion? The singer has a rather small chance of winning.

Blank “Solo”. Song and performance rated by an expert from “Your Face Sounds Familiar”
Agnieszka Hekiert is well known to the viewers of the show “Your face sounds familiar”. A singing teacher, voice emission expert, vocalist and composer prepares program participants for performances by training their vocal skills with them. In Hekiert, she decided to assess how Blanka and “Solo” were during the semi-final. At the beginning, the expert pointed out the advantages of the performance.
– Eurovision is primarily a show and as such, Blanca went with energy, quite nice and cleanly sung chorus. You can see that she has been practicing since pre-selection and bravo for that! Dancing is also nice – she admitted to Gossip. The voice emission specialist also pointed out the shortcomings. So there was a bit of criticism.
What chances does Blanka have in the Eurovision final? The expert speaks clearly. “It is going to be hard…”
According to the expert, Blanka’s song “Solo” in the semi-finals was rather average, despite the spectacular dance arrangement. – Verses, bridge [przejścia między kolejnymi częściami utworu – przyp. red.] and pre-chorus [przejścia pomiędzy zwrotkami a refrenem] slightly unstable in terms of intonation. In my opinion, for any win there was not enough vocal finesse, melodic changes, ranges and embellishments – noted Agnieszka Hekiert. – It will be hard to win. But it is known that I always keep my fingers crossed for Poland she added.
