Who is Blanka Stajkov? From the performance in “Top Model” to winning the Polish preselection for Eurovision 2023
The Polish representative at Eurovision 2023 was born on May 23, 1999 in Szczecin. She is the daughter of a Polish woman and a Bulgarian. Although there were no people with a musical past in her house, she felt a close bond with music from a young age and decided to tie her future with it when she wrote her first song at the age of 14. This is not Stajkov’s only passion. The Polish representative in the Eurovision Song Contest has been learning dance since she was 5 years old. When she was 15, together with her mother, she left for the United States, where for four years she developed her passions and range of dance and music skills.
What’s more, many people may be surprised that in 2021 Blanka appeared in the 10th edition of the “Top Model” program. However, she failed to qualify for the next stage of the program. However, the viewers will surely remember the show. Particularly remembered is her photo session made by one of the jurors, Marcin Tyszka. Blanka then posed in front of the camera lens with an inflatable unicorn.

We choose a hit for Eurovision!”, where this year’s representative of Poland at the 67th Eurovision Song Contest, which this time takes place in Liverpool, was selected. Blanka turned out to be the winner with her song “Solo”. However, it was not without controversy. The artist received a lot of unflattering opinions after her performance. On Thursday, May 11, Stajkow won over the international audience and made Poland qualify for the final of the 67th Eurovision Song Contest, which will take place on May 13.
