The end of Princess Leonor’s course at UWC Atlantic College, a prestigious boarding school in Wales where she has been preparing for several years, is coming to an end, and while she is waiting for her final exams, the daughter of Letizia and Felipe has taken part in a gastronomy course.

Infanta Sofía celebrates her 16th birthday: Letizia’s youngest daughter, who stands out for her naturalness and good humor, behaves without feeling out of place even though she is “second” in the Spanish dynasty

And that is that, as part of the school’s projects, the students of Leonora’s course took part in joint work in which they strive not only to develop an interest in cooking, but also for a more sustainable life, reports El Confidencial.

In this way, the Spanish heir to the throne participated in a gastronomic event that the same institution announced via its Instagram profile.

The platform shows some of the vegetarian recipes that the students prepared themselves in the dynamic called “Living on the veg”.

“This project aims to promote the love of cooking and the desire for a more sustainable life,” states UWC Atlantic College, where the benefit of reducing meat consumption and all the effects it has on climate change is also being promoted.

Leonor vs. Amalia of the Netherlands: Spanish press calls Letizia’s daughter a “hidden” princess, overshadowed by Máxima and Guillermo’s eldest daughter who has already been exposed as an active member of the royal family

Thus, Princess Leonor put her culinary skills into practice and certainly tasted some of the dishes prepared only with vegetables, such as the classic pesto pasta.

Doña Letizia, who is known for taking the utmost care in feeding her daughters and the whole family in Zarzuela with organic steamed or grilled products, would no doubt like that, the Spanish media write.

The gastronomy course would also be intended for students to get away from the pressure before the final exams before the end of the course on May 20, according to Lecturas.

This was precisely the excuse of the Spanish royal house to justify the absence of Princess Leonor at the coronation of Carlos III, on Saturday, May 6, unlike Amalia of the Netherlands and Elisabeth of Belgium.

The portal points out that students from boarding schools in Wales will graduate with an international baccalaureate diploma, and to celebrate they will enjoy a great party in the castle gardens. King Felipe VI and Doña Letizia are expected not to miss this event.

After completing her student days in the United Kingdom, the princess will enjoy her summer holidays before entering the military academy in Zaragoza at the end of August. (AND)
