Conrado Moreno was the star of “Europe can be liked”. What’s up with the hero of the scooter mishap?

We are in the early 2000s. On the TVP2 screen, Monika Richardson, disguised as a policewoman, announces another guest, in the background we hear the sound of an unsuccessful attempt to start the engine of a vehicle. Suddenly, a man in a white leather jacket drives into the studio, completely out of control of the scooter and rushes towards the audience gathered in the studio. “Excuse me, are you alright?” – the driver of the vehicle turns to the frightened people sitting in the front row and curses, ignoring the cameras.

We owe this memorable moment in the history of Polish television to the program “Europe can be liked” broadcast on TVP2 in 2003-2008 and to one of its regular heroes – Conrad Moreno. “The most famous Polish Spaniard” gained great popularity thanks to the slip-up. Recordings of the crash, repeatedly shared on the web, have already had millions of plays, but Moreno disappeared from the world of show business some time ago.

After the end of the adventure with the program “”, the Spaniard took part in “” and another dance program – “Stars dance on ice”. For some time, he also co-hosted “Okno na Świat” on TVP Info, and was employed at the Lotto Studio. For years, Moreno has also been a compere and host of events, but she rarely appears in the media.

Recently, the Spaniard visited the studio “Dzień Dobry TVN” and told what had happened to him in recent years. He admitted that he focused on his family and health. During the time when he shunned the media, he became a father twice and decided to go to therapy. The celebrity admitted that visits to a psychologist help him understand himself, find himself in difficult situations and teach him how to deal with pain in a healthy way.

Adored by fans of “Europe can be liked” Moreno, today he is less recognizable. He also changed his image, and although he still resembles himself from years ago, his face has a thick stubble sprinkled with gray. Moreno, active on Instagram, mentions that he has no problem with his popularity dropping. “Many years have passed since my more frequent appearances on television, the trace written in the memory of those who remember participating in the program years ago is becoming more and more blurred. Sometimes I hear questions ‘what was the name of this program?’ or ‘how can I recognize you?’ (…) Does it make me sad that what used to be is behind me? It doesn’t make me sad because I am a man reconciled with myself, with passing time and focused on others, not on myself.” – he writes in one of the posts.

However, the passion for speaking into a microphone does not leave the heart of the famous Spaniard. Moreno hosts his own broadcast “Życie jak w Madridcie” on Radio RDC, to which he invites guests and talks with them about their passions, as well as the pros and cons of everyday life. The Spaniard’s fans hope that the author’s program is the first step towards Moreno’s return to show business.
