On Monday, the Polish Internet roared with the news of changes in the popular program “Our new home”. After ten years, the host, Katarzyna Dowbor, bids farewell to the production. She has visited almost 300 families throughout the entire duration of the program, helping them to provide better living conditions. The 64-year-old journalist is another person after Katarzyna Skrzynecka and Michał Wiśniewski who says goodbye to the solar station. These decisions are undoubtedly related to the change in the position of Polsat’s program director. Since January, the channel has been managed by Edward Miszczak, who replaced the current boss, Nina Terentiew. The changes introduced by him raise a lot of controversy among the station’s viewers, who do not see the positives in them.
Doda will perform in Polsat in a completely new role
It turns out, however, that another bomb is being prepared that can divide Polsat’s audience. According to the portal, during this year’s edition of the Polsat SuperHit Festival in the Forest Opera in Sopot, one of the hosts is to be … Doda. She will then be accompanied on stage by Maciej Dowbor, with whom she will create a presenting duo. The singer is also to sing on Friday, May 26, when the “platinum concert” will take place. These provisions reportedly did not appeal to some stars of the station.
The festival will last a total of three days and will take place on May 26-28, and other personalities will appear on stage as hosts in the Forest Opera, apart from Doda and Maciej Dowbor. These will include Marcelina Zawadzka, Paulina Sykut-Jeżyna, Maciej Rock, Krzysztof Ibisz, Ewa Błachnio, Agnieszka Litwin.
Although Doda has recently been strongly supported by Polsat, it is worth mentioning that it was on the air of this station that she began her media conquests. She was one of the participants in the second edition of the reality show “Bar”, which was broadcast in 2002. After this program, she gained great recognition and began to storm the music market. A few years later, she also appeared in one of the episodes of the program “Far from stretchers”, and last year she got her own reality show “Doda. 12 steps to love”.
Although another entertainment program with Doda in the lead role is announced for this year, it was not immediately clear whether this idea would be implemented. Mainly due to personnel changes at the station. When Edward Miszczak was the program director of TVN, he did not allow Doda to participate in the station’s productions because of a conflict with Agnieszka Woźniak-Starak. However, it turned out that he wants to start a new chapter in the new station. He confessed that he was happy to work with the star and would be happy to start working on her new show. Who knows, maybe the singer’s debut as a presenter will open her next path of development in Polsat.
