The story tells the fate of an art historian wrongly accused of stealing a painting, who hides in a woman’s disguise out of fear. The film was the first satire in Poland that made fun of certain social phenomena. Today it is considered a classic of Polish cinema.

After playing the role in “Wanted, Wanted”, Rylska did not appear in films for 30 years. It wasn’t until 2000 that she played an episodic role in the TV series “Lokatorzy” and later in “Adam and Ewa” and “Family Foster”. He has not appeared on the big screen since 2001. Shortly after the success of Bareja’s film, she fell ill and withdrew from public life. – The disease interrupted my opening to the world.
