The French play ‘The portrait of Raúl’ will be presented at the Sánchez Aguilar Theater

The biodrama will be presented this Tuesday at 20:00 in the Zaruma Room of the TSA.

An intimate X-ray of the life and path of the actor Raoul Fernández is what the monologue proposes The portrait of Raúl, directed by Marcial Di Fonzo Bo, which opens this Tuesday in the Sala Zaruma of the Teatro Sánchez Aguilar (TSA).

The work is the result of a series of conversations and interviews with the French writer Philippe Minyana. This is how Fernández himself reviews his life, from his years together with his mother and grandmother in El Salvador, his country of origin; then he moved on his arrival as an immigrant to Paris; to his personal development and as an artist in the well-known City of Light.

The dramatic piece addresses gender issues and questions about their sexuality, and their passage through opera, film and theater creations.

The portrait of Raúl It was presented in France in its native language, and later it was translated from French into Spanish for presentations in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Ecuador, including on the stage of the Benjamín Carrión Theater, to be the inaugural work of the Viva Loja International Arts Festival 2021.

The biodrama will be presented this Tuesday at 20:00 in the Zaruma Room of the TSA. The ticket has a cost of $ 15 and can be purchased in some ways: through www.teatrosanchezaguilar.org, through the mobile application and at the door of the theater, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., or before each performance.
