For several years now, this Ecuadorian instrumental jazz group has been in the limelight with every release for their comprehensiveness and musical excellence, and this one is no exception. Saw the light last Thursday Mountain rangea new album that is undoubtedly worthy of admiration not only for the performance of each instrument, but also for its specific sound.

‘La cordillera’ by the Chilean-Ecuadorian band Jazz, the roots will sound at Diva Nicotina; band presents their new album

This launch was just before the celebration of the international jazz daycelebrated annually on April 30 and what a great way to celebrate; eight themes and an estimated duration of fifty-three minutes make Jazz The Roots (@jazztheroots), conveying a unique sensibility through your music, having this award-winning genre as its main foundation, but mixing it with others such as the reggaeHe ballroom or else.

Miguel Gallardo (keyboards), Gabriel Jofré (guitar), Luis Sigüenza (saxophone), Ismael Villarroel (bass) and Raúl Molina (drums), decided to settle for a few days to record, mix and master this record production in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, something that adds value to Mountain rangebecause it highlights the dedication the band has with their music.

From my perspective, the album is a total journey where all the instruments come through in equal measure. No one is overshadowed by their peers. They are melodies that, for the most part, begin in a relaxed way and then take on a magical intensity, conveying a unique sensibility. Masterful, from start to finish.

There are moments that grab attention, like Indie solvable, where there is a silence of more than two minutes, which is present to demonstrate the value of pauses in the music or maybe it was just a joke on the part of the group. the end comes with On the cloudwhere listeners are likely to end up after so much great music.

If all the work stands out, all you have to do is clap. (OR)
