Conchita Wurst won Eurovision years ago. Now she assessed Blanka’s performance. “Everything is very small”

This year’s Eurovision Song Contest is fast approaching. In less than two weeks, the eyes of the whole Europe will be turned to Blanka Stajkow, who will represent our country in this spectacle. Her performance of the song “Solo” has so far aroused mixed feelings, and the winner of the 2014 contest, Conchita Wurst, also decided to comment on the song. He has valuable advice for her.

Conchita Wurst became famous in 2014, when, as a representative of Austria, she took over the Eurovision stage, performing the song “Rise Like A Phoenix”. The singer was unrivaled at the time and won the competition nine years ago. Despite the fact that the song received good reviews, much more was said about the unusual appearance of the Austrian, who was dubbed by the media as “the woman with the beard”.

The Eurovision winner evaluates Blanka’s performance

Since his victory, Conchita has been eagerly involved in various Eurovision projects in which he promotes the competition. This year, together with her friend Martin, she decided to evaluate the songs that will compete for the prize in this year’s edition. In the episode where Blanka’s performance of “Solo” from the Polish preselection appears, it is worth paying attention to many details. First of all, when the song starts to sound, the friends start to glance suggestively at each other.

Although the artist’s friend was not very subtle in Blanca’s assessment, Conchita decided to behave much more gently. She did not comment on Stajkov’s vocal skills or the song itself. From the beginning, she tried to emphasize that in her opinion, Blanka seems to be a very nice person. The drag queen artist directly addressed the Polish singer at one point, saying:

Listen, Blanka… I have no doubt that you are a loved one and I can’t wait for you to experience this beautiful adventure at Eurovision. Enjoy it!

Conchita on Blanka’s performance: “It’s so unfortunate”

Then Conchita’s friend laughed and called the Polish “little Britney”, then added that the 24-year-old is “more talented”. It is worth mentioning that Britney Spears in the period of her greatest fame was often perceived as a singer with a weak voice, but with great dancing skills. The Austrian then summarized what she thought about the whole performance and gave Blanca one important tip:

It’s so unfortunate. I think this show could use a little more fire. Everything is very small, no movement is sharp.
