25 music documentaries, in the sixteenth edition of Dock of the Bay

The sixteenth edition of Dock of the Bay, the Donostia Music Documentary Film Festival, will be held in the Gipuzkoan capital between May 1 and 6.
In the Official Selection, the films “Karen Carpenter”, the Uruguayan film “Alter”, “Lee Fields: Faithful Man”, “Before We Move”, “Rock Chicks – I am not female to you” “The importance of being called Ernesto and the asshole of being called Eric”, “Having Time” and “Ghost of the Chelsea Hotel and Rock and Roll stories”.
As for the short films, 10 works will be screened, six of them in a joint session that will take place on Tuesday, May 2, at 7:15 p.m. in the Trueba cinemas. Among them will be “Esna kanta”, in which Arrigurri shows a journey that shows the guts of the song of the same title created by Eñaut Elorrieta for his album “Fantasia” (2022), and “Bide bazterrean hi eta ni kantari”, in the one that Peru Galbete looks at the work of Joxan Artze.
Jon Martija presents “PVC eta Aluminiozko Zatitxoak”, which narrates the tour of the group The Window Ventanas through Switzerland in 1993.
Finally, the Perfect Day section will once again collect a selection of the most outstanding music documentary films on the international scene: “Un Día Lobo López” about Kiko Veneno, “Elephant 6 Recording Co. Screening”, “Music for Black Pigeons”, the film directed by Sahatsa Jauregi about the singer Verde Prato, “A Film About Studio Electrophonique” and “The Zombies. Hung Up on a Dream”.
