Teresa likes granite-containing stones the most, as well as those that are soft and brittle. He reaches for them while watching TV or driving a car. – If I feel bad, I eat a lot more because it comforts me. If I know I have some stones at home, I feel better just knowing they are there. As a consolation, they are there for me when I am nervous,” she said.

It turns out that Teresa’s taste for stones is an extremely rare condition called Perverted Appetite Syndrome, or Pica Syndrome, which is characterized by the intentional consumption of foods not meant to be eaten and is associated with a mineral deficiency in the daily diet.
