The red carpet of the AMA (American Music Awards) begins today at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, at 6:30 p.m. in Ecuador, while the awards gala will begin at 20:00. Delivery will be seen through the canal TNT, official platform for Latin America.
Before the main event, artists Jojo Siwa, Tetris Kelly and Tiffany Taylor will do a special broadcast on TikTok. The singer will take the post Cardi B.
There are several anticipated winners via this social network: Doja Cat and SZA for Collaboration of the Year (Kiss me more), Ed Sheeran as male pop artist and Taylor Swift as female pop artist.
Megan Thee Stallion was declared the winner of Favorite Hiphop Album and Favorite Female Hiphop Artist (she will not be at the ceremony). In the men’s category, Drake triumphed. AND Bad Bunny was featured as a favorite Latin artist.

Rodrigo competes with Ariana Grande, BTS, Drake y Taylor Swift (defending champion, 2020 winner).

This year has also been that of the new categories: favorite trending song (most viral on TikTok in 2021), Favorite gospel artist and favorite Latin duo or group. With these are five distinctions for Latino artists in the AMAs.
