Saint Lucy is a Portuguese nun who died on February 13, 2005 in Coimbra. In 1917, she experienced events considered to be Marian apparitions. They took place from May to October 1917. Lucia was 10 years old at the time and the eldest of three children who witnessed these apparitions. A few years after these experiences, she entered the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Dorothy in Vilar. However, in 1948, with the special permission of the Pope, she left and joined the convent of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel in Coimbra. There she took the name of Maria Lucia of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
The terrifying vision of St. Lucy
The Portuguese nun has experienced different visions about the future of the world over the years. They appeared in the years 1921-1929. Interestingly, one of the prophecies concerned events that, according to the Catholic mystic, were to take place in 2023. St. Lucia claimed that there would be another war at that time. In her opinion, Russia will attack China. Millions of people have died, and politicians may even decide to use nuclear weapons. The mystic also listed the European countries that would suffer the most during this war. According to her, these would be: Denmark, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, as well as northern Italy. What will happen to our country? St. Łucja assured that Poland was the only country to come out of the international conflict stronger. What’s more, according to the nun, it is our country that is to lead in a reborn Europe.
Psychologist about prophecies
The prophecies of various mystics and fortune-tellers are very popular. However, it is good if we keep an appropriate distance towards them and treat them only as entertainment. – Some want fortune tellers to take responsibility for the decisions they make, which could promise a simpler solution. One can risk saying that consolation in divination is needed by people who feel loneliness and want quick answers to various life dilemmas. Of course, you can gain a different perspective thanks to prophecies, but will a person who has never seen us before have a better view of the situation than, for example, a friend? – said psychologist and therapist Wiktoria Dróżka in an interview with our website.
