The second group of seniors who can count on a double pension every month and for life are farmers. However, this applies only to those who, in addition to contributions to ZUS, also paid them to the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund (KRUS), and were born after December 31, 1948. However, this is not all, because the period of insurance in KRUS is also important. How much is?

Double pension for uniformed men? Yes, but not all

Also, some uniformed officers can count on a double payment. However, you should know that although not so long ago this option was available to almost all representatives of the services, now the situation is a bit different. This means that currently uniformed officers must decide what benefit they want to collect, whether from ZUS for civilian work that he undertook after leaving the service, or ZER MSWiA (Retirement and Disability Institution of the Ministry of Interior and Administration).

There is, however, an exception to this rule. According to the amendment from , this does not apply to persons who:

  • entered service after January 1, 1999, but before October 1, 2003,
  • have at least 25 years of service behind them.

In this case, they can choose a more profitable option – whether to collect two pensions or join the one from ZUS to uniform benefits. Also here you need two applications in two offices.
