“He never lost his temper, he has a good attitude and he didn’t give up”: they assure that actor David Ostrosky, as well as Juan Pablo Medina, will soon return to acting after his arm was amputated

The Mexican variety show caused consternation after news broke that actor David Ostrosky had undergone an operation to amputate one of his arms.

The 66-year-old actor underwent surgery in the second week of April, writes the TV Notas website, although neither the actor nor his relatives have yet made an official statement.

The outlet, which follows news from the world of entertainment in Mexico, had access to a source close to David Ostrosky, whose name remained anonymous.

Despite this, the source specified, the actor “did not give up”, he is strengthened and awaits a quick recovery to resume his routine and return to the stage, just as the actor Juan Pablo Medina once did, who had his leg amputated in July 2021.

“David is a very strong person, with character, who despite what he is going through, has never lost his temper, has a good attitude and has not given up. Another in his place would be badly affected,” the source said.

A person close to David Ostroško pointed out that the actor is “in the spirit that many already wish for”, since he is a very disciplined person who has never failed in his work or did nothing for such a long time, for which he expects a quick recovery.

“Yes, he is in very good health and as far as I know, he will be home for recovery in a few days. They reckon that in a month and a half or two months he will be ready to return to the scene with that smile that characterizes him,” he concluded.

What happened to David Ostroško?

In August 2022, David Ostrosky had to leave the filming of the soap opera “Vencer la ausencia” due to severe pain in one of his upper limbs.

At first they were believed to be connected to the neck or spine. After consultation with several doctors and magnetic resonance imaging, the tumor was discovered.

“What was hurting me was my arm and the doctors told me it was my neck, until the doctor told me ‘it doesn’t hurt my neck, you need to do an MRI of the arm.’ All said and done, I have a tumor on my arm for which I am very grateful to life and to God that it was in my arm, and not in any organ where it affects you,” he commented in a telephone conversation with the channel Stars without going into more detail.

After that, he underwent a special treatment that included several chemotherapies and then immunotherapy, although they would not give the expected result.

A source mentioned to TV Notes that the actor underwent an amputation to prevent the tumor from spreading to other organs, although he made it clear that they do not know if it is some kind of cancer. (AND)
