No onion, no ceviche. For actor William Levy (coffee with the scent of a woman) the Ecuadorian dish that won his heart and palate is dry goat cheese.

“Cebiche from Peru is better, but dry goat from Ecuador… my mother!“, expressed the 42-year-old Colombian actor in a quick impromptu interview in which he declared his fascination with this recipe from our country.

“I’ve been eating dried goat for the whole month” Levy continued unable to contain his excitement. “Every day. When I arrived at the hotel, they would ask me what I wanted, and I would answer: dry goat!“.

The actor’s relationship with Ecuador began when he was filming in 2008 movie Pieces of life along with Marina Salvarez, Giovanna Andrade and MarĂa Teresa Guerrero.

“It was a wonderful experience. Since I have been in Ecuador for so long, people already knew me and gave me a lot of love when I arrived“, Levy recalled in another televised interview.

“To all the people I know now I tell them that my richest dishes were in Ecuador, and dried goat is one of my favorites.”, He said. “It’s a goat in sauce, they know how to do it, but it is an extraordinary thing”.
