The 13th pension has already appeared on the accounts of some seniors, but not all of them have received the additional benefit yet. The cash supplying their budget will be paid out for a few more days along with the April pension. When can seniors expect the supplement? Poczta Polska in its message gave specific dates. Here’s what the payout schedule looks like in 2023. So far, the allowance was paid on April 1, 5, 6, 10 and 15. Other pensioners will receive the “thirteen” on April 20 and 25.

The 13th pension paid in 2022 was not taxed, but this time seniors have to pay tax on it, which will slightly reduce the final amount of the benefit. The government also announced an increase in the “thirteen” by PLN 250, but in real terms it will be lower due to the tax that will go to the Tax Office. How much will the 13th pension be “on hand”? Seniors and those who receive a pension of less than PLN 900 net will benefit the most from it. Then their allowance will only be reduced by the health contribution, so they will receive about 1445 net.
Those who receive a monthly pension in the minimum amount will gain about PLN 1,330 net on the “thirteen”. What about other cases? Estimated calculations of the 13th pension were shared by the portal.

- PLN 1,445 net pension -> PLN 1,364 net “thirteen” -> about PLN 81 tax;
- PLN 1,684 net pension -> PLN 1,333 net “thirteen” -> about PLN 112 tax;
- PLN 1,985 net pension -> PLN 1,293 net “thirteen” -> about PLN 152 tax;
- PLN 2,295 net pension -> PLN 1,255 net “thirteen” -> about PLN 190 tax.
