Snakes 2023 given away. Vega won with the Holy Spirit, Zawierucha lost in his own category

For the twelfth time, the Pop Culture Academy of Everything gave out anti-film awards. During Snakes 2023 Patryk Vega and his “Invisible War” “triumphed”. The creator received as many as seven awards from 13 nominations. Rafa³ Zawierucha turned out to be the biggest loser.

Polskie Węże is the equivalent of the Golden Raspberries, i.e. awards for the worst films and filmmakers of the past year. The twelfth edition of the event was unique in several respects. The list of nominees included the Holy Spirit and the Blessed Virgin Mary, who are said to have contributed to the film “The Called”. In addition, the chapter of Węży expanded the category of awards with “The worst role”. As the organizers of the event declared, the actor played so many weak roles last year that the decision was inevitable.

However, what is most surprising, Zawierusze failed to win the statuette in its own category. Members of the Academy decided to emphasize the actor’s unsuccessful performances in last year’s productions even more clearly and reward Hubert Zyśek.

After a thorough analysis of the situation in this category, however, we decided that Rafał Zawierucha should lose in the category THE WORST ROLE OF RAFAŁA ZAWIERUCHA – the organizers of Węży justify the decision.

The Academy emphasizes that Rafał Zawierucha won the role in the film “Invisible War” in the category of Rafał Zawierucha. However, the character is played by as many as six actors in the production. The jurors declare that they watched the film again on purpose and decided that it would be fairest if the statuette was awarded to Hubert Zyśk, who “stand out the most in this role”.
