A few months later, the participant went to court and was convicted of extortion. The scandalous case from years ago became famous thanks to the TV series “Quiz”.

The case went to court, where charges were brought against the participant, as well as his wife and friend, Tecwen Whittock. The couple received an 18-month sentence and their partner a 12-month prison sentence suspended for two years. The three fraudsters were also fined €115,000. pounds. Although they pleaded not guilty, claiming that their prosecution was a conspiracy, the public had no doubts about the fairness of the verdict. It would seem that after such a scandal, Ingram will disappear from the media. Nothing more wrong. The man has participated in other game shows several times, including in the sports program “The Games” or in the British version of “The Weakest Link”. On the wave of popularity, he also wrote and published two novels, “The Network” and “Deep Siege”.

The role of the dishonest participant was played by Matthew MacFadyen, known to a wider audience from such productions as “Pride and Prejudice” or “Succession”. Sia Clifford also joined the cast as his wife, while Michael Sheen played the show’s host. – Wow! The cast, the story, the scenes, just brilliant. Terribly true and yes, terribly embarrassing.
