It turns out that there is a homemade ingredient that will be great for cleaning your favorite silver items.
I decided to use… baking soda to clean the silver. This is not the first patent using this magical powder for a few zlotys. I poured three heaping teaspoons of soda into a small bowl for sauces, and then literally added a dozen or so milliliters of water. After a few seconds, a sticky paste formed, which I carefully cleaned my favorite spoons and silver chains. Finally, I carefully removed the remains of the goo with a dry cloth.
The above method will work primarily in the case of elements where the black coating is not too extensive. If your favorite bracelet is very tarnished and the soda is not able to clean it, it is worth going for a professional renewal of such jewelry.
