Red Heron Cultural Park summons the public for a very particular show that will take place this Saturday, from 4:00 p.m. The Schuberth Ganchozo’s mate orchestra will provide a show musical on that stage located in the km 37 of the Daule-Nobol road, 45 minutes from Guayaquil, on an area of 80 hectares.
Teacher Schuberth Ganchozo is recognized for the construction of musical instruments with unconventional elements, such as clay and guadúa cane, as well as for the composition and execution of melodies belonging to the ancestral tradition.
On this occasion he presents a recital with instruments made from the peel of the mate fruit, with which he has prepared an orchestra that sings a fresh fusion of folk rhythms influenced by rural life, which the maestro Ganchozo has called neofolk. A similar concert presented on November 11 at the Centro de Arte Theater.
For attendees there will also be a craft fair of products made with the same material.
