Story reading, book fair and theater for all tastes mark the day this Saturday.
‘Story time’ with Eduardo León
This Saturday the writer Eduardo León Rodríguez will share with the little ones an entertaining moment of reading in the space called ‘Story time’ that develops the program Dreams of Paper of the House of Culture of Guayas. The author will read Ophelia and the magic goats and Luz Emilia, a childhood story, both books of his authorship. The activity will start at 11:00 in the Ruth Garaicoa Soria children’s room, on the second floor of the Casa de la Cultura, located at av. October 9 and Pedro Moncayo.
Last day of Free Book
Until this Saturday, lovers of reading or those who are looking for alternative reading options will be able to enjoy the Meeting of Independent Publishers Free Book, organized by the School of Literature of the University of the Arts. The fair will be open from 10:00 to 15:00. While from 10:00 to 11:00 the workshop ‘Licensed to create: applying Creative Commons licenses for creative products’, led by Édgar Rosero and Sara Bolaños. And from 11:00 to 12:00 the activity will take place Reading mediation for boys and girls, by the Fondo de Cultura Económica. All activities take place on the first floor of the Library of the Arts.
Theater for all tastes
The comedy that confronts the viewer and puts monogamy, fidelity and bisexuality into debate will run until this Saturday at the Paulsen Studio. The platypus, with the performances of Alfredo Salomón, Lisseth Rezabala and Raúl Sánchez McMillan, is presented in the Paulsen Study (Las Peñas neighborhood) at 8:30 p.m. Admission is $ 15. On Vilaró (CC Laguna Plaza via a la costa km 12.5) this month’s theatrical season is presented. Among the micro-works in function is in Room 1 The Hp family Higuera Pilataxi, with Yolanda lopez and Jeff Nieto, in the hours of 19:30, 20:30 and 21:30.
