The festival Mad Cool has considered corrected the technical error that this Tuesday exposed the data of an unknown number of buyers to others who tried to access their own subscriptions, and ensures that the tickets that have been downloaded during this incident are not valid.

For several hours on Tuesday, ticket buyers for the music festival found the data of other people when they accessed the system to ask that their bracelets be sent to them, as denounced by different users on social networks.

The festival has explained this Wednesday to EFE that, despite this, the personal tickets for Mad Cool have not reached other people and that those that could have been downloaded are not valid.

In an information sent to those affected – whose number they have not determined – it is also ensured that no one has been able to access the personal code of the tickets. Mad Cool affirms that the platform already works “with total normality” and that all users can update what they need “with total security”.

For its part, the Ticketmaster ticket sales platform, which sent massive emails to give access to the system, ensures that the technical problem is alien to them, that they were only in charge of communicating the authorization of access to the bracelet system. for the festival. “The ticket office works as an intermediary between promoters and fans, but Ticketmaster is not responsible for the computer error,” add sources from this company.

They affirm that “the problem has not affected in any case the ticket sales processes, the responsibility of Ticketmaster, which have functioned completely normally,” they insist.

The sixth edition of Mad Cool, which will be held from July 6 to 8 in Madrid, includes names like Liam Gallagher, Robbie Williams, Sam Smith, Mumford&Sons or The Prodigy, who will be accompanied by American rock by Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Black keys.
