– Probably every singer dreams to sing a song for Disney. Fate gave me “I have this power”, as if to confirm that I really have it. Each of us has it. And that’s probably what this song is about, about faith in the power that is in us and that we should always rely on it and not be afraid to make our dreams come true – said Kasia Łaska, who sang on the stage of the Polish Theatre, before the concert. During the concert broadcast on Polsat, you could hear many childhood hits – after all, Disney fairy tales accompany the next generations of viewers.
Edyta Górniak recalled “Colourful Wind”, Beata Kozidrak sang two songs
The performers were accompanied by the Grott Orchestra, and on the stage there were, among others, Edyta Górniak singing the hit “Colourful Wind” from the animated film “Pocahontas” or Beata Kozidrak with the song “Catching Wind” from MErida Waleczna “and the title ballad from “Beauty and the Beast”. – Our first meeting with Pocahontas was magical, although we did not know it then nothing about each other. I recorded the first vocal rehearsal, which flew to Walt Disney’s headquarters and waited patiently to see if such a voice could be the beautiful Native American Pocahontas. When I saw the whole thing later, I was amazed at how similar we are to each other – recalls working on songs from the movie Edyta Górniak.
As for Beata Kozidrak, she appeared in two dresses that were sewn especially for this occasion, taking into account the character of the character played. They were prepared by designer Konrad Bikowski (more photos, including the second dress, can be found in the gallery next to the article). – The first of the dresses was made of silk taffeta in the color of mango. Its color was supposed to refer to Beauty’s dress from the fairy tale “Beauty and the Beast”, because yellow is not the best color for blondes, we decided to create a shade especially for Beata. We mixed yellows, greens and reds to get the one. The color was created especially for this particular model – said the designer.

The concert, which was recorded at the Polish Theater in Warsaw, was shown on television on April 10 in the evening.
