The actress, born in 1947, could have retired some time ago, but she admits that she cannot and does not want to afford it. In one of the recent interviews, Krystyna Tkacz said that she would receive less than PLN 2,000 a month from ZUS and in her opinion these are really low amounts. In Rozmowa z Rewia, the artist commented:
Comparing most of us to the real rich is really funny. One of my good colleagues put it so well: we actors are recognizable paupers.

Krystyna Tkacz is a graduate of the music high school and the ballet school at the Wrocław Opera, later she graduated from the State Higher School of Theater in Wrocław. Ludwik Solski in Krakow. She made her professional debut in 1972. She has released several albums, including “Concerts in Trójka vol. 3. You are not alone. Songs by Agnieszka Osiecka”, was associated with theater stages in Poznań and Warsaw. In the series “Alternatywy 4” she played Kotkowa, the wife of the crane operator Zygmunt Kotek, played by Kazimierz Kaczor. Initially, the Kotka family ended up in the same apartment with the doctor Zdzisław Kołek.
The actress is also well known to fans of “Świat wed³ug Kiepskich”, in which Tkacz appeared many times in guest roles. In the Polsat series, she played, for example, a fairy, Magda Gessler, an MP and aunt Rysia. Since 2019, she has also been a member of the cast of “Colors of Happiness” – as Irena Wyszyńska, Anatol Koszyk’s partner. In the cinema, she was recently seen in Konrad Niewolski’s “Asymmetry” from 2020. Weaver is also a recognized dubbing actress. Her voice can be heard in the Polish language version of the film “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” or the animation “Inside Out”.
And the second reason why the actress did not decide to retire completely is precisely the work itself. Krystyna Tkacz admitted to “Twój Styl” that “she still wants to take on new challenges” and would not like to focus only on rest or “running around the doctors”.
