Two carriages will be used during the coronation ceremony of King Charles III on May 6 at Westminster Abbey in London.
Carlos will succeed his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away last September.
Last Sunday, the royal family released new details about the three-day event, which includes an evening concert and a hearty meal.
Carlos III has a circle of close people who will follow him at court: the list does not include his son Harry or his brothers Andrés and Eduardo
On the morning of May 6, Charles and Queen Camilla will travel from Buckingham Palace in procession to the Abbey in the Diamond Jubilee State Coach, a coach created for the 60th anniversary of Elizabeth II’s reign in 2012 and only used by the sovereign and occasionally by the consort or head of state as companion.
Above it is a golden crown carved from oak, and inside are samples of wood, metal and other materials from buildings and places associated with Great Britain and its history. It will be driven by six Windsor Grays horses.

The return trip will be driven by the Gold State Coach, which dates back to the 18th century and weighs four tons. This carriage was last used in June 2022 when Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee was celebrated.
It was commissioned for construction in 1760, and the first to use it was George III two years later. It has been used at every coronation since 1831. The carriage will be pulled by eight horses.
Buckingham Palace has indicated that it will create an emoji for the event inspired by the 17th-century Edwardian crown worn by Queen Elizabeth II at her coronation ceremony in 1953, and her son will do the same.
This emoticon will accompany messages on Twitter with the hashtags #Coronation, #CoronationBigLunch, #TheBigHelpOut and others in the same vein.
