“Wow, what delicious cocoa you have!” says the famous speaker Daniel Habif, when he talks about the culinary delicacies of Ecuador, to which he adds ceviche and bolón de verde, which he is so eager to taste again. And that is that among the simple things he enjoys is food. “I really enjoy food… it seems to me that it is another way of love…”, he says.
Daniel Habif encourages Ecuador in difficult times: “Don’t forget that you are the home of bolón de verde, corviche and encocado”
Her tastes become even more sensual when she says that perfumes have become one of life’s pleasures. “I love that pod, I smell perfumes, things all day. I’m someone who really likes aromas”, reveals.
But the pleasure that covers all his senses is the company of his wife. “I really like walking with my wife, they are one of the things I enjoy the most in life, walking with her for hours and in silence.sometimes we are, and the silence is not unpleasant… a while ago I went for a walk with her and I said to her: “sometimes when I’m not with you I imagine kissing your wrists, how nice it is to be with you, thank you for being here with me”. shares.
The Mexican is satisfied with the smallest and simplest things, but when it comes to shouting, he does it with such intensity that he reaches millions of people through his networks or conferences. And on this occasion, he raises his voice again in his recent book, where he reminds that fate, instead of waiting, needs to be challenged. Ahead of his presentation in Ecuador in May, Habif connects on Zoom with EL UNIVERSO to discuss his work howling.

He says the intent of his book is to train the reader to build a plan for any personal battle. He proposes three concepts that he defines as fundamental in the decalogue of humanity. “These are concepts that I believe should never be outside of any strategy, conquest of an ideal or promotion of a cause”.
Thus, the 287 pages of his work are constituted on the basis of these three concepts; starting with ‘Inspire’, which, very different from what we know popularly, is about internal healing, before externalizing for others. “It has to do with breathing, with pausing, with moving forward a little more calmly, managing your attention, managing your boredom, and starting to take a sharp look at who you are.with the intention of getting to know you better. The better information you have about yourself, the less fear you have…”, explains Habif.
This first segment takes a tour of nine types of intelligence, with the aim of the reader identifying the most appropriate: musical intelligence, bodily-kinesthetic, logical-mathematical, visual-spatial, linguistic, naturalistic, interpersonal and intrapersonal. All this with the help of other tools that help work on willpower, self-confidence and self-awareness.
“All this information in the first chapter helps you to remove the stone, let’s say to remove the things that no longer serve you, to purify yourself,” the author states.
Another concept he suggests is ‘Ignition’, which consists of “loading all this information that leads you to the right plan of action”. And finally, it introduces the reader to the last concept, that of the ‘Hand’. “It is time to create a new reality and weave a new creation of extraordinary proportions,” he says.
“There are three processes that, while not perfect, they help the reader build a map of intentions and also understand the different routes they can navigate towards a foreseeable future that is of great benefit in personal, professional and social contexts.”demarcates.
Its featured phrases, aphorisms, exercises, meditations, website links with complementary videos and real-life examples make it an interactive book; leaving it out of some “heavy” intellectualism which, although it should be read with the five senses, is simple language.
“The whole book is built with sound symbology, you will find all these symbols that are very sonorous, that say a lot about the resonance of the individual (…) There is also an audiobook that has music made especially for each of them. these chapters so that it follows you with naturalness… it’s an extension of the dialogue, music continues to be one of the best ways to embrace the world for me,” he explains.
The process as a writer
Habif is the author of other books such as unbreakable, and fear traps. Writing doesn’t always have a defined schedule in your life, you can do it anywhere. “I see the face of a leaf on everything, it can be a napkin, a cell phone, a computer,” he says with a laugh.
“Sometimes I just write concepts or aphorisms…I develop very common, very simple ideas. There are times when I want to fall asleep, and that leprechaun appears and I start writing at dawn for hours and hours until my fingers hurt; I really like to write with a pen. Many times I write without spelling and without punctuation, because it creates diarrhea or chatter in my head, so I don’t want to stop the information,” he says.
This last book took him about two and a half years.. “howling they were all flowers that grew from my cracks… it’s a book I wrote in the process of mutation, of great maturity,” he says.

prayer and meditation
Habif shows prayer and meditation as essential tools for anyone, believer or non-believer, with or without a spiritual position. “I believe that prayer and meditation are states that actually cause a change in the internal matter, and in addition, they help you to listen to all the screeching of this haunted house that we are used to”held by a lecturer who sees prayer as his trench. “I never hang up the phone, the phone with God.”
“Meditate in silence, except your mind is empty, as a way to set your day, to start your day, to provoke your day. Meditation brings you to a state of tranquility, attention, presence.
“Sometimes I love my shadow more than my reflection”
Self-exploration is one of the key elements to howl, but what happens when you discover something on that inner journey that you don’t like as a person? “It is the most difficult operation of all, to open the chest and do an autopsy and see if you are inside as you say you are outside… that truth hurts, but liberates. The truth cannot be convinced by reasons, but by facts, because that is the realm of truth,” answers Habif.
He sets himself as a living example. “Sometimes I love my shadow more than my reflection… and I’m not ashamed because it makes me, it is integrity… I don’t want to pretend to be perfect, that’s a false peace and part of it does great harm to humanity, presenting itself as someone unwilling…”, he notes.

“You have to be very brave to break”
Resilience is one of the points he deals with in the book and he makes a very good point about the differences with resignation. It clarifies that resilience is not the absence of fears or the absence of pain or uncertainty. “Resilience is when you receive a fatal blow, leaving you completely broken, in pieces, on the ground, and you have the ability to hit yourself again as if you were a new craft proudly displaying all those wounds.” – points out Habif.
He believes that the moments of resignation are valid. “There are times when one must learn to say no… perhaps there are times in life when one must clearly choose his battles.”
“You have to be very brave to stop, you have to be very brave to show yourself, to say ‘I can’t do it anymore’ or ‘I don’t want this anymore’… it’s a great resilience, a great ability to bear pressure… There are people who endure pressure for years and that’s why they make diamonds”, demarcates
howling It is available in bookstores in Ecuador. The presentation is scheduled for May.
