Little Mi was known for having a lush bun in the middle of her head and a red dress. This is one of the most recognizable fictional characters among people who know the fairy tale “Moomins” by Tove Jansson. For the first time, her persona appears in “The Moominpa Diaries”, and then also appears in “Moominsummer”, “Moominwinter”, “Tales from Moominvalley” and in “Moomindaddy and the Sea”. In 1982, Krystyna Kozanecka became the State Higher School of Theater in Krakow. Her film debut was the role in Grzegorz Królikiewicz’s Jewel of a Free Conscience. For many years, from 1982 to 1994, she was associated with the Studio Theater in Warsaw. On the stage of the theater she performed in performances of “Replika” by Józef Szajna, Tadeusz Łomnicki in “Affabulazione” by Pier Paolo Pasolini, and “The Threepenny Opera” by Bertolt Brecht directed by Jerzy Grzegorzewski. Kozanecka died on November 20, 2013 at the age of 53 and was buried in the cemetery in Warsaw’s Powsin. The last production in which we could hear her voice was the animated film “Enchanted slippers”.
