What is the “Clean Air” program? Here’s what support is about
If you are thinking about replacing windows, you should be interested in the program “”. On January 3, changes were made to it, including the income threshold was increased, the subsidy was increased and the possibility of submitting another application for people who had already benefited from the program was made available. In addition, you can replace your old (and doors) with new ones. Support applies to the purchase of:
- windows and balcony doors,
- skylight windows,
- transparent, non-openable surfaces with a mounting system
- purchase and assembly of construction materials in order to carry out the necessary accompanying works.
It should be remembered that the purchased windows must meet the technical requirements for thermal permeability, and before that, an energy audit must be carried out, which will be covered by a subsidy up to PLN 1,200.
Window replacement grants. Who can get up to 100 percent. funding?
Anyone who is entered in the land and mortgage register of a house or as an owner can apply for a subsidy. The funding is divided into three levels:
- basic – up to 40 percent eligible costs,
- increased – up to 70 percent. as above,
- maximum – up to 100 percent as above,
and its amount depends on income. This means that people whose annual income does not exceed PLN 135,000 can benefit from the basic level. zloty. On the other hand, from the higher – persons whose average income per household member does not exceed:
- PLN 1894 in a multi-person household,
- PLN 2,651 in a one-person household.
100 percent subsidies, the income per member may not exceed:
- PLN 1090 with many people,
- PLN 1526 for one person,
- or the owner is entitled to a permanent, temporary, family or special care allowance.
As we can hear in the program, the minimum subsidy for the replacement of windows, when we do not replace the heat sources, is PLN 3,000. zloty. Eligible costs include: purchase, assembly and disassembly of window joinery, transport of new windows to the site, as well as the purchase and installation of external window sills, processing of door frames, etc. The support does not apply to buildings that received a building permit after January 1, 2014.
How to use the co-financing? Apply or apply for a loan
The program is implemented from 2018 to 2029, with the signing of contracts until December 31, 2027. Currently, applications for a subsidy or a predefined subsidy can be submitted at any time. You can do it online at gov.pl, in person, by post or courier at the appropriate WFOŚiGW. You can also submit an application at the bank and use the Clean Air Loan.
