Allish Walsh, 28, was five months pregnant when her ex-partner Liam Taylor, 37, stabbed her in the stomach 40 times with scissors. The bloody woman was found by her father.
He killed the mother of his unborn child. “With full awareness”
When her father found the body of the mangled Allish, the woman was still alive. The perpetrator covered her with a reflective jacket and left a payment card in her pocket. Bloody scissors lay nearby. The victim’s father immediately called an ambulance, but the British woman could not be saved. “The attack was extremely brutal and carried out in full knowledge that Walsh was carrying the defendant’s child,” prosecutor Joan Osborne told The Times.

The accused pleaded guilty. “A moment of madness can change your life”
Liam Taylor immediately hit the list of suspects. Surveillance footage recorded him entering the building where Allish lived at 8:36 p.m. and exiting about 40 minutes later. The testimony of the woman’s friend, who had talked to her just before the tragedy, was also significant. She testified that Allish texted her that she couldn’t get Liam out of the apartment.
The woman called a friend, and on the other end of the phone she heard screams and sounds of a struggle. The man was supposed to be aggressive and, as tests showed, marijuana and alcohol were in his system. Liam Taylor pleaded guilty. “It’s crazy how one moment of madness can change your whole life,” he told police after his arrest. He had previously been punished for attacking his mother with a metal stick.
