Information about the creation of a new, third adaptation of “The Quack” made a lot of noise in the media. Some people think it’s a bad idea, but many people can’t wait for the production to appear on Netflix. The creators point out that the plot will differ from the previous films. The latest installment will be directed by Michał Gazda, and in the title role we will see Leszek Lichota as the title character. Jolanta Wilczur will be played by Maria Kowalska.

The 26-year-old actress has participated in the TVN series “Under the Surface” and in several smaller productions. Her involvement in the new “Quack” was a great ennoblement for her and, as we expected, it did not end there. Soon we will be able to see her on TV screens in the latest TVP series, where she will play the main role.
“Matylda” is one of the proposals of the national broadcaster, which will be in line with the new program line, which was mentioned in January by the president of TVP, Mateusz Matyszkowicz. Only Polish series, mainly historical and costume, are to be present on TVP1 and TVP2. The first series on this subject “Hunting for moths” is already present in the schedule of TVP1 and is very popular.
“Matylda” will be maintained in a similar style. The title character is a teenager whose father was an insurgent and was sent to Siberia. Studying on a boarding school is not enough for a girl who is curious about the world. A coincidence will force her to seek help from her closest family in a charming estate in the Lublin region. There she will experience her first love and learn the truth about her ancestors. The cast will also include Ireneusz Czop, Urszula Grabowska, Mirosław Haniszewski and Jędrzej Hycnar. The premiere date of the series is unknown.
