After hundreds of doctors and still no response, I just gave up.
On one occasion, a friend of Lima’s suggested to her that the mysterious ones might be related to her breast implants. In 2002, the woman decided to enlarge her breasts. Then the 49-year-old realized that her health problems started around that time. So she decided to go to the doctor to confirm these assumptions.

Melissa Lima decided to talk about the health complications she experienced after having implants and the relief she got from having them removed in 2020. She did it via TikTok. The video quickly garnered over 5.4 million views. In a short clip, she also showed what her breast implants looked like after they were removed. Under the photo she wrote:

Six months after the operation, Lima observed that 90 percent of her symptoms had disappeared. Today, she enjoys her “best life” and finally feels like herself.
