The policewoman was accompanied by an officer of the Criminal Division with her partner – a police dog specialized in detecting drugs. The animal’s attention was particularly drawn to the backpack of one of the students.
The quadruped began greedily sniffing the school satchel and at one point signaled with his behavior that there might be prohibited substances inside. Very quickly, he also headed towards the 16-year-old’s backpack.

To the surprise of the uniforms themselves, as well as the rest of the class and the teacher, small amounts of marijuana and a pipe were found in the backpack.
The Oława police inform that a 16-year-old student will be charged with “violating the provisions of the Act on Counteracting Drug Addiction”.

“After the activities, the juvenile was handed over to the care of her parents, and the police officers informed the family court about the whole case” – said the press secretary of the CPP in Oława, Asp. pcs. Wioletta Polerowicz.
“We would like to remind you that among the manifestations of demoralization, drug addiction and alcoholism are considered the most threatening to the health and proper development of children and youth. Let us remember that these are phenomena to which no one should be indifferent!” – she added in a statement published on the police website.
