Dua Lipa shares a photo from her participation in the movie ‘Barbie’, with Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling

The movie of live action by Barbie keeps coming closer. Today, the cast shared footage of the film, which is scheduled to premiere on July 21, 2023. The film focuses on the puppet played by Margot Robbie, who, after being kicked out of Barbieland for not being a perfect-looking doll, leaves for the human world to find true happiness. There he meets his Ken: Ryan goslin.

Neither of the two protagonists has an account on social networks, but the secondary actors and actresses have already shared the first images of their participation in the highly anticipated fantasy film. One of them is the pop singer Dua Lipawho will debut as an actress for the first time in this feature film.

“This Barbie is a mermaid!” she wrote in the post alongside art of her as a character from the movie. So far there has been speculation about her role, but it is the first time she has been confirmed as part of the cast.
