The Ecuadorian writer Leonardo Valencia presents the book this Wednesday Free fall testingwhich brings together texts in which over the years he has analyzed everything from events to the works of authors who have strongly marked their passage in the history of Latin American and world culture.

The appointment of this April 5 will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the Olmedo Room of the Simón Bolívar Andean University in Quito.

The articles, essays and conferences (on different continents) from Valencia that make up this book are a walk through the region and Europe, observing the life and work of authors as diverse as Akutagawa, Pizarnik, Monterroso or Juan Emar; it is about contemporary voices, such as those of Aira, Libertella, Rumazo, Hiriart, Granés or Becciú; and he makes reviews of great masters: the case of Borges and Cortázar for the novel, the autobiographical dissolution of Stendhal, and the creative processes of Dante that are as thorough as they are enigmatic.

Several of these essays have been published in EL UNIVERSO, where he has been a columnist for several years.
