In other recordings, however, she shared her observations about the behavior of customers who react to her lack of a bra by persistently and ostentatiously staring at her breasts. Some are embarrassed and in turn look away.

Her decision not to wear a bra every day was deliberate. TikToker seems to rather not care about the behavior and reaction of others. However, in one of the videos, she admits that ostentatiously staring at her body part is not acceptable. In the description of the recording, however, she wrote that she was not disturbed by simple interest.

It is worth noting that activists have been fighting for a long time to ensure that female nipples are not a controversial element in the public space. They note, among others, discrimination in this respect: while men can go shirtless or in a transparent t-shirt without fear, the female body must be covered. Furthermore, women’s breasts continue to be sexualized and censored.

The Supervisory Board of Meta announced that the censorship of female nipples will disappear from Instagram and Facebook. Meta has recommended that its social media platforms change their policy of moderating nudity content.

The council, which includes experts, journalists and politicians stated that the existing rules for censoring nipples are unclear – women’s nipples are covered, men’s are not. According to council members, the current rules also exclude transgender and non-binary people.
