A 20-year-old woman from Aberdeen, Scotland, struggled with large breast size for many years. So she attempted to get on the NHS waiting list for surgery at the age of 17. The long queue and distant date of the procedure discouraged Phoebe from waiting for her turn. So she decided to take matters into her own hands. She began saving money by working in a bar. When she raised £3,800, she decided to go to Turkey in 2022 to undergo breast reduction surgery there.

After undergoing surgery, the 20-year-old was initially terrified and felt extremely uncomfortable in her “new” body. I am much more confident. I’ve gone from constantly wearing about four layers of clothing to cover myself up to not wanting to wear anything at all.
