Marek Kondrat guards his privacy very much and we can only learn as much about his life as he tells us in interviews, which he does not give very often. However, recently, the actor decided to open up to social media and set up an Instagram account, which his fans have been waiting for.
The first post appeared on March 11. We can see a portrait of the former actor on which there is no trace of retouching. This is not the most popular treatment on this social media, where many people use “beautiful” and use many filters for the photos they take.
The 72-year-old also uploaded several other photos on the same day, which also gives the impression that he has not been present on Instagram until now, where few people post many photos on the same day. One such publication is a recording in which he greeted the users of the application with “his favorite sparkling wine from Alsace”.

However, the most attention is drawn to one of the last videos shared by the actor. We see Marek Kondrat sitting in a restaurant reading the following quote from his phone:

However, it turns out that this quote does not come from any of George Orwell’s works. , the quote cannot be found in the English-language database of Orwell’s works. Benedict Cooper of the organization “The Orwell Society”, which promotes the work and life of George Orwell, is of a similar opinion. The man contacted AFP and confirmed that Orwell never wrote this in any of his books.
The actor apparently did not know this, but it did not stop him from sharing this apt quote with observers. Marek Kondrat turned off the option of commenting under the post, which may only indicate that this quote has a clearly political overtone. Anyway, the views of the actor are widely known. This is what he said in 2022 for “” about the ruling party:
It takes us back in terms of civilization. It divides people by playing on primitive and bad emotions. This division is false and dangerous for us Poles. He breaks EU rules, but reaches out for EU money. This is cynical, rude and devastating for our position in the world, harmful for Poland.
