John Wick 4. A fan counted how many people he killed in Keanu Reeves’ movie. They broke the series record

“John Wick 4” is the longest, because it lasts for three hours, part of the popular film series with Keanu Reeves as a ruthlessly effective contract killer. What’s more, in the new production, the main character fights more than he talks, and finally someone managed to calculate how many people he killed on the screen this time. This is a record result for the entire saga.

“4” is definitely the most breakneck, crazy, bravura, exaggerated in comics and at the same time captivating with beautiful frames installment of the series. Director Chad Stahelski went all out and spared no screen time. He shot enough material with Keanu Reeves to make a four-hour film, but eventually took pity on the viewers and limited himself to “only” 169 minutes. Meanwhile, John Wick leads a manhunt and then becomes a target himself, which means that wherever he goes, someone is trying to kill him. The entire movie starts with a flashy chase scene and a quick execution, then the merry-go-round of frantic action scenes continues.

How many people did John Wick kill in the fourth movie?

John Wick fans know perfectly well that hardly anyone fights and kills so picturesquely on the screen as he does. He gracefully uses every known type of firearms and melee weapons, uses numerous styles of martial arts, and can even eliminate an opponent with more unusual tools. John Wick can kill a man from a horseback, inside a car or from the saddle of a motorcycle (and also with the car or motorcycle itself). In his hands, a book or a simple pencil can also become a murderous tool. He is also one of the most murderous movie characters, which is confirmed by the latest reports on the number of his victims in the fourth of the series of films.

We weren’t joking when we wrote that Wick fights more than he talks in the new movie. One of the viewers managed to calculate that in “John Wick 4” the main character killed 140 people, which is an absolute record. Recall that in the first part, Wick eliminates 77 people, in the second this number increases to 128. The third movie is another 94 dead opponents. So now we know that the total number of John Wick victims has increased to 339.

Keanu Reeves had to work really hard on set – most of his shooting days consisted of filming fight scenes. Perhaps the director and screenwriter wanted to somehow make his life easier, so they drastically reduced his dialogues. As reported by “”, the actor speaks exactly 380 words in the three-hour film. And from that, most of his utterances to single grunts and the word “Yeah.” For comparison, it is worth recalling that in the 101-minute first installment of the series, he uttered exactly 484 words.

John Wick 4. The post-credits scene builds up the tension

We won’t reveal the ending of the movie or whether John Wick is really dead, but we can explain what happens in the post-credits scene. After the duel, Caine (Donnie Yen) goes to Paris and we see him with a bouquet of flowers. He heads towards his violin-playing daughter, with whom he has not been in contact for years, fearing for her life. Now he has obtained permission. But there is no certainty that he will finally talk to his daughter. Akira appears in the frame – the orphaned daughter of Shimazu, who is looking for revenge.

Theoretically, “John Wick 4” is to be Keanu Reeves’ farewell to the series (the creators made sure that it was very difficult to justify his return), but an off-spin set in the same universe is being prepared. “Ballerina” will focus on the heroine played by , and some of the photos have already been shot in Prague, Czech Republic. He’s supposed to make a guest appearance in the movie. So far, the producers can enjoy the excellent results of “John Wick 4” – the film earned $ 137.5 million on its premiere weekend.
