Lady Gaga’s First to Be Revealed as Harley Quinn, a Character She Was Going to Play in the ‘Joker’ Sequel

The participation of Lady Gaga in the sequel prankster has once again aroused the curiosity of all those who await this film with high expectations. It’s once again the topic of conversation following some new photos from the production that would reveal the costumes and makeup the performer would use in the film.

Lady Gaga Confirms Participation in ‘Joker’ Sequel

This sequel gets a name Folie à Deux and would have Gaga in the role of Harley Quinn. The images were distributed by Variety, and in this you can see Gaga’s character being escorted by police officers from fictional Gotham City on their way to a government building.

Extras dressed as protesters can also be seen gathering around the star, holding signs with messages such as “Free Joker”, “Justice 4 Joker”, “Joker Marry Me”, and “No Justice Not Guilty Not Joking”.

While it has yet to be officially confirmed that Gaga will be playing Harley Quinn, the scarlet jacket and diamond print top plus the iconic makeup on her face give the clues needed to guess.

This isn’t the first look at Gaga from the set. On Valentine’s Day, director Todd Phillips shared a photo of Gaga and Phoenix in a romantic scene.

Last year, Lady Gaga was confirmed to star in the sequel to the 2019 film Margot Robbie, who played Harley Quinn in films like the suicide squad And Birds of preysent Lady Gaga much success in the iconic role on MTV News in October 2022.

Joker: Folie à deux It’s not part of the DC Universe that James Gunn and Peter Safran are building and it has its own timeline. Safran said this film will “clearly be labeled as DC Elseworlds, just like the comics do.”

The theatrical release is scheduled for October 9, 2024.
