For many years, Halina Nowak delighted with her acting performances both in film and theatre. Viewers of the series may associate her with the role of the singer Kolińska-Kubiak in “Alternatywy 4” or Wanda in “Labirynt”. On the other hand, moviegoers know her as Marianna from “I don’t like Monday” or Adela from “Sanatorium pod Klepsydrą” based on stories by Bruno Schulz.
Halina Nowak asks for help in paying off her debts
The 83-year-old actress quickly found the love of her life and was married for decades. Her life partner was Włodzimierz Nowak, who was also an actor. Halina Nowak recently mentioned her marriage in the “Stars in Skolimów” program:
We were almost 18 when we met. He accosted me when I was walking down the street with a friend and asked if he could join. I agreed. We sat in the park on a bench and became a couple. I immediately told him: ‘You will not touch me unless I become your wife.’ He quickly proposed. We were two months away from turning 18, so we had to wait. I was obsessed with him and faithful to him all my life
The couple decided three years ago to move to the House of Veteran Artists of Polish Stages in Skolimów, where they even decided to get married in November 2021. Unfortunately, the man passed away a few months after the ceremony.
The woman experienced this loss very much, and to make matters worse, the secret that her husband had been hiding for years came to light. In an interview with “” she revealed that Włodzimierz Nowak took out a loan of PLN 30,000. zlotys, about which he had not told her:
The husband was ill and took out a loan of 30,000. and I have to pay it now. He didn’t tell me about our financial problems. He didn’t want to worry me. He loved me
The devastated actress does not have the means to repay the debt at the moment and therefore asks all her fans for help. Currently, he uses his entire pension to pay for his stay in a nursing home. She is afraid that a bailiff will visit her, who will confiscate memorabilia important to her:
I am afraid that the bailiff may come to me and take away all my husband and parents mementoes that are close to my heart. I am asking you to help me pay off this debt. It’s very hard for me and I can’t do it alone
