took part in the show “X-Factor” in 2011. When he appeared on stage and presented his original style, he was quickly hailed as a “colored bird”. Not everyone liked his image. Maja Sablewska, who was a talent show juror at the time, asked him to remove all unnecessary accessories before he started singing. When he did, he announced that he would perform the song “Dziwny jest tenświat” from Czesław Niemen’s repertoire. – If you hurt this song, I will hurt you without pleasure – Kuba Wojewódzki just before the performance. However, it only took a few moments for the judges to see that they had a real talent in front of them.
Everyone gathered in the studio was impressed by Michał Szpak’s vocal skills. Immediately after the performance, they did not hide their delight. “I have a couple of thousand CDs at home and I’m only missing one. Do you know which one? yours, he commented. – That’s the main rule. Don’t go on tour and don’t take support who is much better than you – added Czesław Mozil. The extraordinary voice and determination led Szpak to the final of “X-Factor”, in which he took second place.

After participating in the program, Michał Szpak focused on career development. On the wave of popularity, he appeared in the “Dancing with the Stars” program, where he took fifth place. At the same time, he recorded his own songs and played concerts. At that time, he also made his debut on the phonographic market with the mini-album “XI”. At the end of 2015, his full-fledged album “Byle jest się” was released, which went platinum. A year later, the singer took part in the pre-selections for Eurovision and eventually became the representative of Poland. In the competition he performed the song “Color of Your Life”. Michał Szpak was also a juror in the program “The Voice of Poland”. Now the artist focuses on his musical activity. In 2023, the singer plans to release his third album.
