A sudden and short illness took from the school an excellent classicist – a lecturer, and to all of us – a friend and colleague
– we read in the official message published on Facebook. Colleagues say goodbye warmly, recalling his approach to the profession and young art adepts, and also appreciate his skills, openness to others and knowledge that he willingly shared with his charges.

Warsosław Kmita was born on April 11, 1943 in Lviv. He was a graduate of the acting department of the Łódź Film School. He made his debut both on the screen and on the stage of the theater in 1969. Throughout his career, he has been associated with the stage, performing, among others, in in the Theater of Stanisław Jaracz in Olsztyn, the Polish Theater in Olsztyn or the Rozmaitości Theater in Warsaw. He also successfully developed his career by appearing in television and film productions. He appeared in such series as “First Love”. From 1987 he was associated with the Teatr im. Wojciech Bogusławski in Kalisz, where he created nearly 50 excellent acting creations.
