How much does it cost to take a bath in the tub? Various charges are included in the bills
Accurate calculation of the price of a bath in a bath or a shower is practically impossible. The value of these activities depends on many factors. In the first case, first of all, you should focus on the capacity of the bathtub. Usually it is from 70 to 300 liters. What’s more, the price per cubic meter of water, its heating and sewage disposal depends on the region and the municipality. Total costs can range from PLN 8 to over PLN 30.
For this reason, to calculate which is more profitable, you need to average the results. According to the portal, it is worth taking the following averages. One cubic meter of water together with sewage disposal costs about PLN 11, while heating it costs about PLN 18. When bathing, we usually use 70% warm and 30% cold water. Assuming these results and the fact that a medium-sized bathtub will hold about 100 liters, we will pay PLN 2.36 for each bath.
Which is cheaper – a bath in a bathtub or a shower? The difference is considerable
On average, when we take a shower, we use about seven liters of water per minute. Washing for eight minutes in a stream consisting equally of heated and cold liquid, we will pay one zloty and twelve groszy. However, it should be borne in mind that the more time we spend in the cabin, the more we pay. Thus, a 16-minute shower will cost a few pennies less than a bath in a bathtub.
However, assuming that we spend about eight minutes in the shower on average, it turns out that we will pay PLN 408 for it per year. If you decide to take a bath instead, the cost of your bills will more than double. every day and taking into account the averaged statistics, we will pay PLN 860!
