Mariusz Szczygie³ and Zofia Czerwiñska have been friends for years. The reporter together with the family of the actress loved by the viewers m.in. thanks to the series “Alternatywy 4” and “Czterdziestolatek” he was responsible for what her grave will look like. On the 90th anniversary of Czerwiñska’s birth, the writer “took” her fans to the cemetery and showed the finished monument.

She is visible in the cemetery from a distance, and I must say that she would probably be happy, because she really liked to be seen and, above all, heard. She said her various bon mots, jokes … And such a bon mot ‘The best place for a tent is always a bit further’ was here. This is a sentence about the insatiable nature of man.

– says Mariusz Szczygie³, approaching the tombstone.

“Zofia would have turned 90 today … She already has a new tombstone. We tried with Zosia’s family to have such a birthday present on her round anniversary,” the writer wrote on Instagram on Sunday, March 19. “We ask visitors to place candles on a special black stripe shiny black. He is prepared for possible cracks in candles – this stone will be easier to clean. At the back, for now with white stones, a box for pink roses … Her favorite sentence she had in repertoire of her bon mots, may suggest that she should lie in a better place, or at least a little further away, but to my surprise, she really wanted to lie in this municipal cemetery (Northern Cemetery in Warsaw – – S/IV/7/7/5) with her parents. Her tenderness towards them, even when she was in her eighties, was touching. She did not call them anything other than ‘daddy’ and ‘mommy’, “he added.

In the video, she shows the monument and says that it contains the artist’s favorite photo, hanging over her bed for years. The names of her beloved parents are also listed. At the end, Szczygieł draws attention to the small inscription on the side: “Symb. Dżek” – this is in memory of the actress’s dog. Dżek even accompanied her during the handprint ceremony at the Festival of Stars in Międzyzdroje in 2012.
